Each year Newbury College has been offering a part-time course on beekeeping. The instructor is generally a Newbury beekeeper. The more people who sign up, the more resources the College can make available and the better the course becomes. Last year the response was good and the classroom course was followed by a practical course held in a local apiary. The 2007 beginners' course started in mid-January and runs for six Thursday evenings. It is possible that more resources may be made available next year if the demand is high enough.
